A new car reveal. A packed arena. A live TikTok audience. We brought MotorTrend's credibility to one of the most dynamic vehicle launches of the year.
OVERVIEW
To launch the 2025 Nissan Kicks, MotorTrend partnered with Nissan to go live — taking its audience inside the reveal event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn for a first-of-its-kind TikTok livestream experience.
Rather than cover the launch after the fact, MotorTrend brought its editorial expertise directly to the event floor, pairing the electric energy of the venue with the credibility of MotorTrend's automotive voices. The program was built around a simple but powerful idea: give Nissan's target audience of in-market shoppers real-time access to the reveal, hosted by people they trust.
MotorTrend editor Miquel Cortina and TikTok influencer Will Collette co-hosted the livestream capturing the unveiling, in-depth conversations with Nissan representatives, and live influencer interactions. A teaser video drove tune-in ahead of the event, and editorial and highlight recap videos extended the campaign's life after the stream ended.

A three-part video execution built around the reveal. First a live social teaser drove tune-in, followed by the live reveal TikTok stream from Barclays Center, and finally a recap cutdown distributed across MotorTrend channels to extend the campaign after the event.
